I think the tag could be interpreted as follows: "ediphone 'museum valuable' model." That is, the the words "museum" and "valuable" belong together, rather than "ediphone" and "museum" belonging together.

Might not this simply be from the TAE company and their name for "archive" or "collection" is "museum"? Therefore, not a public museum at all, but a reference collection kept for research and patenting purposes? One of the blanks on the tag mentioned "disclosed to" which seems to suggest trade-secret security. (It looks kind of 1930s - 1940s to me.) It'd be interesting to find out for sure.

These reproducers are indeed quite scarce.
