$168.15 with over 5 days left. Has anyone found anything on this yet?

I think the tag could be interpreted as follows: "ediphone 'museum valuable' model." That is, the the words "museum" and "valuable" belong together, rather than "ediphone" and "museum" belonging together.

Might not this simply be from the TAE company and their name for "archive" or "collection" is "museum"? Therefore, not a public museum at all, but a reference collection kept for research and patenting purposes? One of the blanks on the tag mentioned "disclosed to" which seems to suggest trade-secret security. (It looks kind of 1930s - 1940s to me.) It'd be interesting to find out for sure.

I too am not as interested in the actual piece for sale as I am the tags. I would love to know what they are from or what their original intentions were.

The reproducer is one of the special units with the diamond point and heavy weight designed for instructional use, playing the loud, electrically recorded Blue Amberol dictation cylinders to calssrooms full of stenography students.

These reproducers are indeed quite scarce.
