Almost perfect Model A 'Triumph'

Post by JohnM »

I picked up an almost perfect Model A 'Triumph' locally today here in Florida. It is among the nicest machines I''ve found with the pinstriping and lettering about 98% perfect, and the overall machine a conservative 90% as found. You could eat off the top mech it is so clean. Has it's original recorder and 14" black & brass horn. I don't have any cylinders to play on it with me and it's just begging to be played! I bought a banner-front 'Standard' over the weekend with a H&S horn and three dozen two-minute wax cylinders but I stashed them at a friend's house in Miami for safekeeping until I am ready to head home, and they are over 100 miles away now!

The only Internet I have at the moment is my iPhone. I'll try to paste a photo in here and see if it works. If not, I'll go to the library tomorrow and update this post.

Congratulations on the Triumph. I love the banner decal machines and yours sounds like a prize. Jerry

can they please be uploaded directly to the forum? otherwise, filtering software can prevent them from being seen.

thanks for resposting the photos directly.

and that's a beautiful machine. I've got the same in similar condition, although it's 2/4 minute. is this one only 2 minute? I'll post a couple shots of mine later in case you're interested.
