Hmm... likely used for live performances only. :lol: Not suitable for archival purposes. Is there pitch control? :mrgreen:

A humpbacked Victrola indeed! ROTFLMAO.

Years ago almost every town of any size with a railroad had a turntable. They played locomotives at about 1.5 rpm.

Before mainsprings, the industry experimented with the pull start, however, they quickly found that this method was only good for very short records and lead to many rotator cuff injuries.
