Mooresville show

Post by JohnM »

Did anyone atend the Mooresville show? I'm curious about the flat-top Pooley VTLA -- condition, who had it for sale and for how much, and did it sell?

Thanks for any replies!

Hey John
The VTLA belongs to Lyn Bilton (it's on his website) I checked it out pretty good and it looked okay to me. It had all the original records boxes and the finish was nice. Really, nothing bad to say at all. He was asking $5000 for it. If I had the $$, it would be at my house tonight. I know he still has it 'cause I helped him load it.

There were some terrific deals. My neighbor, who just happened to be there and doesn't even collect phonos, picked up a pristene early 14 with the shelf in front for $550. I couldn't believe it!!!!
I'll post some pics when I can.

Thanks Bobby! I would love to have a flat-top VTLA before I leave this veil of tears. Please send donations to . . . ;)
