Need I'D on a zonophone
Picked this up at a sale. Plays fine. I just would like to identify the model. I don't see zonophone around here. Victors and Edisons are everywhere. Thanks, Christine G.

Reiss pictures this model, but lists it as "unidentified".
Is the horn silk covered? Apparently that was common for this machine.

That model is also listed as a "transitional" Zon-o-phone on this page -- https://www.intertique.com/TheZon-o-phone.html
"Transitional front mounts
Transitional front mounts dating to after the merger with Victor, ie ca 1904 or later, have appeared from time to time. These machines employ a mix of early Zon-o-phone and later Victor components. The motor is often mounted to a wooden motor board, rather than a cast iron bedplate. As of this writing, no catalogue depicting all variations has been discovered."

Is there a location on the dealer tag? This looks European, not American. Also, is that an Exhibition reproducer?

The tag reads Cohen & Hughes, Baltimore Md. A Google indicates they were in business a long time
