I agree with phonophan79's comment about posting some details about your collection and/or what started you in on the hobby. Being an engineer must definitely help your interest with respect to the mechanical side of collecting.

Hi Rolly! Welcome to the board. Give us some info for curiosity's sake. Are you more into machines or recordings, or both? Do you prefer disc or cylinder, or both? What sort of machines do you have, or do you not any yet? What got you started in this hobby?
