I was in Austin Texas two weeks ago and went into there nice museum. It had a large world war one section that was well done. It had a Victor Victrola ten that was set up to play by winding it and behind it displayed in a store front window setup was a crapophone. It blew my mind that they would put a piece of crap as a WW ! phonograph. I did not comment to anyone as I only had a very limited time there and did not know there reason. I am sure some phonograph person would tell them Tom

It's a "FrankO-CrapOphone"

It looks like a mix of a few "original" random parts got put with a crapOphone.
