Base Cabinet for what?

Anyone know what this goes too? It must be for setting a tabletop machine on.

It looks more like a sheet music cabinet to me. It would be nice if there were pictures of the inside.

Definitely sheet music (or piano roll). Not for any phonograph.

I guess it could be used for a custom crapophone setup.
