I have a 4 spring if one of you would like to buy it. I have the motor board and I think all the hardware too. (ie. speed indicator, brake, etc.) PM me if still in need.

If that's the case, shouldn't you be able to make the crank line up any way you want?

I could maybe see wanting to put a 4 springer into a 2-spring machine to save on winding, but not really the other way around.
