Accent on Antique Phonographs Show: September 7-8
Mark your calendars for the Grayslake, IL “Accent on Antique Phonographs” show September 7-8th. The Grayslake Antique Market is held at Lake County Fairground, Grayslake, IL 60030. The large indoor, air-conditioned venue is located about 30 miles North of Chicago. This is a venue to promote our hobby as part a general antique show with many vendors.
This phonograph show is FREE to WIMAPS and APS members to set up, sell, and promote the phonograph hobby. Records, phonographs, Nippers, books and more will be on display. Thirty tables are available for dealers to set up with phonographs, records and related items. Promotion of the APS, WIMAPS and MBSI societies are the focal point of the show.
The guest speaker on September 8, at 1:00 will be John Hauger. The title of his presentation is: “John Philip Sousa: The March King”
Tim Zurko is a member of WIMAPS and promoter of antique shows in Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan. At larger shows, Tim likes to feature specialty-collecting societies and enjoys promoting the phonograph hobby. This show and market promises to be a great time with good friends.
