List of Japan made Victor/Victrolas

Post by nostalgia »

I have been asked by the moderators to upload photos of the Japanese made Victor/Victrolas, that I came across a few days back. They will be posted on the forum, as chronologically found at my source. I am myself not able to verify that the information given is completely acccurate, and there also may very well be some US made Victrolas in the listing, I have myself neither the knowledge and time to control this. The list is also not comprehensive, as far as I can evaluate it. With this in mind, I am starting to upload the photos, since I believe the information need to be shared, since it both from a historic and cultural perspective is of big importance, and hopefully also will contribute to a lasting and even growing interest in collecting acoustic gramophones. I unfortunately only have one photo of each model, and no further information is available, if it is not given in the text section of the postings. Year of manufacture is written in the tag id of each photo, if it is available.
As many readers of course already have registered, there is a similar thread in the UK/European part of the forum, where I chose to list the Japanese made Columbia gramophones found at the same source.
I will post 4 gramophones at a time, to make it somewhat easier for the reader:

So here we go then:

Next four, I realize that the uploaders to the Japanese site has often skipped the VV part of the model name, and also sometimes part of the model number, but I choose not to alter anything since I am not in the position to do that.
