I do hope the antique table society isn’t too upset…because I no longer have a coffee table

Here’s what we did today. I am going back next week to route the top and do some more work on the cabinet.

That looks great... this is going to be a really nice cabinet... Glad you could save it.

I called the Antique Table Society and they really like your work, so they're giving you a pass... Besides, they really didn't care for the style of the table.

Quick question.....

I am hoping to work on the cabinet some more over my fall break (2 weeks from now)... and was wondering if the shelves can be installed after the cabinet is glued together? It seems like that shouldn't be an issue... I just need to make sure before it gets glued together.

Thanks,

David

I don’t have much of an update on this but thought I would share the one thing I’ve done  I made a new piece for the bottom and have it roughly the final shape.

I also got all the parts back from the wood shop. They’ve been sitting there for months and I was getting worried someone would use them for some other project :?

Well.. I have finally begun working on the cabinet again. Here’s some photos from todays work. The top isn’t finished. I’ll be goin back next week to finish routing it.

Can someone who has a full barrel cabinet please measure the height and diameter of the feet and either PM it to me or post it here? I need to know how tall they are before I glue the squares together.

Cheers,

David

Update time! I am hoping to have the cabinet refinished and glued back together in a week or so. Here’s some of the progress pics.

Also heres a picture of the triumph that will go on top of it once it’s all done.

Cheers
