VICTOR MS FRONT MOUNT BLOCK OFF ????
Here is a picture of a Victor MS rear mount it has the block off for the front mount arm. Can anyone tell me why there is a hole in this. I have seen many like this. Is this for an accessory? Any info would be appreciated. Also I have a Victor MS front mount with the concert front mount horn and need a block off for that machine. Tom

Re: VICTOR MS FRONT MOUNT BLOCK OFF ????
Personally, I think it was for a horn support crane when using a Large Horn on an Early Rigid Arm Machine.
I have seen a large All Brass Screw Mount Victor horn which had a Horn Support Ring.
The elbows on the Rigid Arm machines are very weak and bend very easily.
My 2 cents, Bob S.

You ask an age old question that I have never heard an exact answer to.
