This question has probably been answered previously on the forum but I can't locate an answer doing a search though the threads.
I have had this gold plated tonearm sitting around for a while that I picked up years ago at one of Lynn Bilton's shows.. It may be time to sell it but do not want to misrepresent the item. I believe it was from a Vic 6 but not positive as I'm pretty sure there were some early Victrola's that used the same tonearm.
What is the tell tale sign that would indicate it's compatibility with a Vic 6. I can see an area where the reproducer rest on the arm and feel that this might confirm my belief that it did come from an outside horn machine .
I have provided 4 pictures.
Thanks in advance

Re: Victor VI Gold tonearm and reproducer question
It does indeed appear to be from a Victor VI, and I could use it. Cheers, Russie

You're correct in noticing the wear spot where the reproducer touched the arm as being indicative of coming from a Vic VI.

Has the U-tube been re-soldered to the tone arm?
