Does anyone own one of these or have any information on them? There's a page in Baumbach's Columbia Disc phono book but I don't see much else on the Internet.
There's one at an auction near the town my brother lives in and he said he'd go and have a look if I wanted him to. Guess it'll likely have a flowerpot ring- but looks pretty good from what I can tell.
Here's the pics from the auction page.
Looks a little more compete than the last one (Jr. Monarch) anyway..

Re: Columbia Viva-tonal Model 650
I've never heard one of these particular ones but Viva-tonals can be nice. They sound good, if not quite up to an Orthophonic, and the cabinets are very handsome. The arm and soundbox are of brass construction but the soundbox has a cast rubber fitting which can be hard to reproduce if needed.
