I was wondering if this large horn was originally sold as a recording horn, or if it was marketed as a regular large horn. I am assuming that it is a Columbia. Measurements are about 28" long, with a bell diameter of 13".
Thanks.
Recording horn or just a horn?

Re: Recording horn or just a horn?
Mike,
These horns were for amplification - a regular large horn. Columbia did offer them in the late 1890's in the early 1900's. Here is an 1897 cut from a catalog advertising this horn.
