Victrola VV-XIV question

A lady brought me this yesterday and I spent all evening fixing it. Everything went great, except for the record storage doors are locked shut. Will a generic nickel victor key fit this machine? Or do I need a specific one?
Here’s some pics! I’ll be finishing up the case today, I was pretty tired after taking apart the motor
the person before me didn’t do a good job ‘repairing’ this.... he put the elbow on backwards and glued the flange upside down on the exhibition.
The elbow is correct now, and I’m waiting for the flange to arrive!
Cheers
David

A regular "V" key should work.

I just ordered one from Ron. Let’s hope it works!

I've seen all manner of greases used on phono springs, but never in green!

It was recommended to me by another collector, I haven't had any trouble with it thus far!

Silicone Green Grease from any automotive store. Polymer rust inhibitors, really sticky. I’ve been using it for years.

Safety first!
The greasy newspaper within inches of the electric space heater in the 3rd photo looks risky to me.
