She was a popular American journalist and humorist (1875-1950); one of my favorite books written by her in 1922 was "A Guide to Men," with one of my favorite quotes:
"The follies which a man regrets most in his life, are those which he didn't commit when he had the opportunity."
Does this apply to phonograph collecting??
