I got this crank in a collection of cranks and reproducers. I thought it might be an Edison, but Frankly I do not know. Perhaps it's not for a talking machine? Well, if you have any thoughts, I'd appreciate reading them. Note the shape of the crank. Thank you.

Thanks. I note it has a thick layer og black paint (?) just like some Columbia and Edison bedplates have.
