Columbia Graphophone AI with Bettini Nt Attachment

Post by phonohound »

I recently acquired this wonderful set up of a DC electric Columbia AI Graphophone with a Bettini Nt reproducer. The phonograph and attachment are in exception original condition. The horn is a reproduction.

The AI is an extremely rare model with approximately 2 known to exist and was first produced in 1898. The Bettini Nt reproducer for Graphophone AT and Commercial Graphophones is also extremely rare and was introduced in 1900.

Please click the link to see a YouTube video of it in action. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmMJfUqVZY0

Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks Jerry. As Rene had posted previously, when these Bettini reproducers are adjusted, they can play amazingly loud and with great clarity.
