Just thought I'd share my new VE 8-35x! I love it, in some ways more than my Credenza.
What the heck, here's my GE H-91-R grandfather clock radio and my Atwater 60 too.

Very nice. Congratulations! It's nice that you have the albums, since they are often missing.
The metal horn Orthophonics like yours -- to my ears at least -- have more midrange response than a Credenza with a wooden horn. The Credenza has a fine, warm sound, but the metal horn machines seem to have a brighter sound. Depending on the types of records you play, there can be a noticeable difference.
