Odd Edison?

Post by larryh »

My computers been off line so maybe this has been ask about before, if not I am curious as to what this might be. I can't find a picture of a machine with this cabinet in the Frow book and something seems odd about it overall. It has and edison 250 plate in it but something just doesn't jive to me?

I saw a machine like this in the George Frow Edison Diamond Disc Phonograph book.

One of these appeared a few years ago. Here's the related thread:

Well this isn't what I expected to find out. So it really is a special cabinet by Edison. Sounds like someone should have purchased it by now then?

Didn't you buy it??? If not, let us know where it is...

Maybe a few years ago I would want to purchase it, but getting older and don't really need another even if it is rare. I see it was listed two weeks ago so it might be gone but not removed from the FB Marketplace. Let me know if someone here ends up with it. Of if its gone let us know that as well.

Congratulations. It's a beauty. Please post more photos and details when you get it home.
