Help With Horn Identification

I picked this horn up along with a dozen others , curious if it is even a phonograph horn, the small end fits a Edison reproducer perfectly, It measure 12 ½" " long with a 5" bell, I am showing it next to a common 14" horn with a 7" bell for scale, Any ideas? Thanks Larry

Looks more like something for a musical instrument.

Must be some car, I'd like to see that !
Look how thick the small end is.

I don't think a 14" car horn would be all that unusual in the 1900-1912 or so period.
It certainly doesn't look like a phono horn I've seen before.

Fog horns came in lots of shapes and sizes too.

Surely that second picture is of a very large Balmain gramophone?
