If you look at the completed auctions, this is more typical for an early Brass Orthophonic reproducer. This one sold for $610.00. eBay can be a funny place.

My generation (Millennials) tend to live in smaller houses/apartments. Most machines are big! It also seems like since vinyl has made a comeback (thanks in large part to Millennials) that most are interested in The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and also newer pop singers like Taylor Swift on record. They do not see much appeal in the music we like that is much older.

I’m in that age group and I welcome the more affordable prices of machines! The only thing that stops me is my family’s complaints about room and floor space, which is the reason I can’t get any more large floor models anymore. But tabletops are still game.

I think the thing about Credenzas is they're A. common enough so that you could get one from a non-collector for cheaper, B. non neccesarily high end ( a debate for another day) and C. REALLY REALLY BIG

That wasn’t the case for me. It was a REAL task and a half getting a Crezenza where I’m at that wasn’t $1000+! That was 2 years ago. I actually had to go to the Yankee Trader section for one because of my limited transportation options and funds.

Often the case, You remember as you grow up, listening to the music of your parents so later on in life you tend to pursue that music from a nostalgic point of view. I am most interested in the music from the late 20's and early 30's due to the fact that when growing up, the cartoons that were shown on tv were from that era played the music from the early electrical recording era of the late 20's and early 30's. I also pursue some big band era as well as 50's and early 60's era music as influenced by my parents

This one I believe is pot metal and not brass, which explains it's low price.
If I remember correctly, the pot metal examples have 9 tear drops cut in the mask, and the brass examples only have 7.
