Well the lid closes all the way on the reproducer. Possibly the ERJ Concert Box is a bit shallower than the Victor Concert Box?

Anyway, I dusted it off with a soft brush, and it just shines. The unmarred screws are a gorgeous blue!
I haven't seen a nicer reproducer since the Clark/Johnson that I have on my 1898 Berliner, which also still has lovely blued screws, but I think this one has it beat!

Bob thank you for that info. Yes, my lid closes too, but you can feel it slightly hitting the head of the needle screw. Maybe they are suppose to be a tight fit ?
I have to reiterate, your C/J is one of the nicest I've ever seen.
