Edison Standard VS New Standard
How do the old Edison Standard reproducers hold up with electric DDs? And how do the Edisonics hold up with acoustics? I've heard the Edisonics can have trouble with damaged DDs.

Re: Edison Standard VS New Standard
If you are asking how does the Electric recorded diamond discs sound on a regular Diamond Disc phonograph the answer is that they sound fine and do sound better than an acoustic recorded diamond disc.
The new electric recorded DD were backwards compatible with the regular Edison Phonographs.

I'm also especially curious about how they handle scratches and warping, and other factors found in DDs. I'm just curious which one would be best for all-round use.
