Guess I’ll try to actually replace the problem spring instead of the whole part! And Brian has that spring.

Ok spring is bought from Brian’s. I’m probably gonna ask a bunch of stupid questions on installing the spring when I get it.

Oh I should mention, I only have one ONE screw holding this pawl in. It was like this when I got it though. That can cause an issue I suppose.

Ok I spent my 4th of July cleaning the motor a little more thoroughly. And I took the winding pawl apart. The new spring has 2 parts sticking up. Am I supposed to clip one of the parts sticking up?

Ok I have all the screws but I need some guidance on how that spring is supposed to go on. I’m scared I’ll ruin the spring in the process and I’m not sure I put the tail though the part in front of the spring and then slide it on. OR do I slide that part on first then slide the spring on and hook it though the hole? And do I clip one of the tails off? Once I have conformation on what I’m supposed to do I’ll proceed.

SIGH. I give up! I’m going to make a new Yankee Trader post! I wish I knew where I put my original. This is just not going to work out…I’m sorry Earl H. I tried and I tried. $14 and all that fussing for nothing.
Back to Yankee trader I go.

Ok now that I have cooled down, I’m wondering. Are some motors interchangeable? Say if I want to put a C-150 motor in my B-19 machine can it be done? Could it be possible to fit a 2 spring motor in my B-19 case?
I just may have to go on that route…

Be patient, and eventually some kind soul will assist and tell you how these parts must fit...
