One last question. I pulled the motor to find it has a flat spot on the barrel gear. It gets caught up on this spot sometimes. Can anyone identify this motor so I can look for the correct replacement gear. Thanks!

Don't know what will be under the golden finish... It could be grey pot metal...
That gear flat spot... Are the teeth still there, or they have been eaten out? Maybe you could try to file out the burrs and reshape the teeth using a thin triangular file...
That motor is unknown to me, but it looks strong and good quality.

Thank you. Yes, it almost looks like the teeth are still there but mushed over. I'll try the file trick. I also thought the motor looks tough, well built and easy to service when I pulled it out.

Yes. The spring barrels seem to be placed for easy replacement, and to be closed by a click_clack fast system. The rest of the motor is enclosed into a neat oil box... All seems very well made and easy. Nice motor.

I have the same model. Thankfully already restored and gaskets and all redone. It’s a fine machine if your Pathé collection isn’t that big.

Hi all, this is my first post on the forum.
I recently purchased a similar machine, made in Canada and will try to attach some photos.
