Re: Victor Six 3 spring motor question
Yes, a nickel plated yielding table is used on all Victor 6's and the early motor & table were also used in the "flat top" VTLA. The later Victor Vl motor was also used in "dome top" VTLA/L-door XVI.

Re: Victor Six 3 spring motor question
Thanks for your reply.. When you say the "later Vic VI" motors were used on dome top" VTLA/L-door XVI, are you saying the the Vic 6 had two motor styles?
Thanks again

Re: Victor Six 3 spring motor question
Blizz,
To answer your question, yes. There are two types (see attached) of all nickel plated motors used during the Victor 6/VI production. Also, the early "spur" gear motor uses a ball bearing race under the table. The later "spiral" gear motor uses a spindle cup under the table. Unfortunately, the YouTube video is inaccurate.

Re: Victor Six 3 spring motor question
Wow great stuff... thanks for the information... I now see that one motor has a slotted crank and the other appears to be a ¼" threaded crank.
I appreciate all this information.

Re: Victor Six 3 spring motor question
That is correct regarding the crank connection change.
You are most welcome.
