It's an excellent machine to cut your teeth on. I'm not sure what your level of experience is with phonographs, but it's also a good one to learn about mechanical repairs on if it needs any.

Some collectors shun the horizontal consoles, but they are just as good performance-wise as most uprights. I'll admit, I've been guilty of parting a couple out over the years.

Finally got to the point of mounting the tonearm and the little beast plays perfect! Definitely doesn’t need a reproducer rebuild or new stylus.

The elderly lady who sold it said the stylus fell into the cabinet… but I knew that was impossible and still felt it on the reproducer. No idea what she was talking about… but it’s perfectly fine and gonna be lots of fun!
