The cylinder looks really clean from that picture. Nice cylinders are getting tougher to find in the wild. Moldy ones on the other hand......

I am always curious what part of the country collectors or items are located. So many are so private.

FYI, this isn't just a nice, clean cylinder, it's one of the very last ones ever made. This is catalog number 5716 and the highest number released in the series was 5719. Not only that, but at this point, Edison typically only pressed about 100 copies of each cylinder. According to Edison's own records, only 102 copies of 5716 were pressed.

Edison quit the phonograph business just a few months later and burned his remaining inventory, so no one really knows how many copies of this and other very late titles still exist.
