Circassian Walnut VV-XVI(H)

Scored a nice XVI-H in Circassian Walnut on Facebook Marketplace yesterday for $350. It’s a day’s-drive round-trip away, and I’ll be picking it up next week. Appears to be missing a used-needle cup and casters. Will also need a full set of albums. Attached are the listing photos.

Very Nice!! What a great deal! There are still bargains to be had "in the wild"... 3 ½ years ago, I found a Circassian VE-XVIII... in the wild. It's restoration was posted here on the forum, but unfortunately the pictures have disappeared, like many others.
Yours is a beautiful machine- please keep us updated once you have it in hand.

These are such gorgeous machines! More than a bit of envy at finding such a nice intact Circassian Walnut machine in the wild at a good price-congratulations!

I have asked this once before on this forum, but not sure I received a definitive answer. I have only seen XVIII Electrola's---has anyone seen a Circassian Walnut XVIII Victrola (non-electric?). It would seem logical that most of those Victor customers who were affluent enough to afford a Circassian XVIII would have had the means to have had electrification in their homes by the late 'teens when these units were available from Victor. I was fortunate to obtain a crank wound Victor XVIII in American Walnut which is also quite beautiful.

I believe the electric Circassians 18's are more common but the one I have is a crank.
