That's a real treasure! Thanks for the picture. Any other examples out there?

Drove to Tucson this morning and picked-up the Circassian XVI. I asked the seller how he came by it and he said he found it sitting by a dumpster at an apartment complex. Said “it was too pretty to throw out”. Amazing. Anyway, got it home, oiled the mech, went over the cabinet and it cleaned right up. I’m VERY happy to have it! Now I’ve got to get the oak XVI(G) that it replaced downstairs into the phonograph room!
I need a gold motorboard lift knob and a full set of albums in good condition, so please keep your eyes peeled for me?

wow- That is a beautiful machine. So glad the guy thought it was too pretty to get thrown out. That goes down as a very close call. The trash truck was probably on it's way. :)

A thing of great beauty-congratulations!

My quick search for prior images of Circassian machines on this forum has yielded a number of threads where the images are no longer available-including some rather recent threads. What is the policy and/or timeline for deleting old images? And can anything be done to extend the time images are viewable? Being able to readily find and pull up images of great phonographs has always been a great service this forum provides.

The "missing" images are still on the server but for yet unknown reasons, they are not appearing. The site manager has promised to look into this and thinks that perhaps upgrading the board will realign everything again. However, he has many other priorities and has been dealing with personal issues, so taking care of the board is very low on his list of things to do. There is no timeline that i'm aware of of when this is planned.
