Post by Gramtastic »

Hi, can anyone say who made this horn , recently on Uk Ebay ? It seems to have had a circular label on it originally.
Thanks

I would say that you have a Hawthorne & Sheble "Flower Horn Manufacturing Co." horn. I inherited this one with an Edison machine from my dad, I think they are pretty commonplace over here. It's 22" diameter by about 29" tall.

Grantastic, your horn is NOT a Hawthorne & Sheble, but some other make which carried a circular label.

Agreed. H&S horns had a distinctive mounting for the hanger, as seen on Bob's example.
