Edison volume control

Post by Josh_boro20 »

I have a A-450, it does not have a volume control unit. Is this correct or is it missing the volume control? Or is it one of the early machines with the volume control on the reproducer?

It's an early machine, with no volume control.

The mute ball became available as an accessory which I needed for my A250, because a notch was cut into the motor board for it. If there is no modification, leave well enough alone.

Could you show me what the notch looks like? I want to see if I have it or not.
