It's sad that he is no longer with us, but I had no idea of his age until reading this. I hope I make 88 and possibly beyond. Think of all the fun he's having now hearing his favorite bands play right in front of him, now that he's joined them in their journey.

Thanks, Shane. I didn't see the previous thread. Although late, it's nice that the NY Times has done this piece on him and his work.
