I was just in an antiques shop in Ohio and found about 75 very clean Duo-Art reproducing piano rolls, all in original boxes for $1.00 apiece for the lot. If anyone can use them, give me a holler and I'll give you the contact information.

Aghh - why can I never find stuff like that in Australia. I'd get them, but the postage would be hundreds and hundreds...now there's no surface mail from US to Australia anymore...

I've had a board member pm me about these rolls and I've forwarded the contact info. I trust that he doesn't consummate the deal, he'll let me know so the rolls would become available again. But at a buck a pop, I would imagine they'll be gone.
Recordo, I remember being told probably 35 years ago, that all the Edison stuff that didn't sell well in the States was sent to Australia and that stuff that is rare here is common there. I now know this is only partly true, but it fueled some great collecting fantasies!
