I was informed months ago that this firm had been appointed to sell the late unlamented Steven Peppiatt's collection, but he has been dead for well over a year and I do not recognise any of these machines as his. There is something odd about that Expert. It appears to have a 10 inch turntable.

From occasionally seeing his videos, that does appear to me to be Gramomort's Expert - pale cabinet in poor-ish condition, 10" turntable on a full-size Garrard or Collaro deckplate, old domestic lighting switch. I gather when new to him, it was an amalgam of parts from various machines which he gathered with help from various other collectors before he launched into his habitual unpleasantness towards them.

Despite the above, and despite him having insulted me personally on a number of occasions with no reason, I bear his memory no malice; RIP.

Having looked at the full auction catalogue I can now confirm that this is indeed the Peppiatt collection. Beware the 30% Buyer's Premium!

I wouldn't mind that Diamond disc machine, alas very far away from me, That EMG IV has always caught my eye, alas I don't think it to be in budget currently, some very nice machines, if I lived further south, I'd be in real trouble!

I'm definitely giving that EMG Mk IV a hard look, and will bid on a few other things. I would love to have an EMG again.
