Did you look under the waste needle pot?

I read that it was under the needle pot. There is nothing there or inside the motor compartment.
Someone removed the screws on the needle cups so maybe they removed the ID tag.

I wonder why they were removed seems a strange thing to do and on many machines as experienced here
