Oak HMV 163 re-entrant tone chamber gramophone or "Upright Grand" as it was catalogued from 1927. Superb sound quality and good volume from this, the smallest of the 3 HMV re-entrants.

Cabinet very good with couple of repairable flaws. All original finish inside and out. Grille cloth excellent and original. Excellent 5A in correct nickel plating. GWO although, as is nearly always the case, the motor springs would benefit from cleaning.
