Ever heard of the Kit Kat Rascals from c. 1937?

Post by marcapra »

Here is a group that I've never heard of before. They resemble the old Six Brown Brothers group from the 'teens who recorded many "batwing" Victors such as Smiles and Chuckles and Bull Frog Blues. Except the Brown Brothers were all in white face wearing clown suits, except the leader, who was in black face. From my limited research I think the Kit Kat Rascals were from England. This performance is a real look at what vaudeville acts must have looked like!
