Mahogany Hall Stomp - Blackbird Society Orchestra

Post by donniej »

As fate would have it, this fantastic local band and I happened to find each other. Your thoughts and opinions on both the performance and the cut are welcome.

Thank you.

So what? Not as "hot" as the original but then again--that was Louis Armstrong.

Louis freaking Armstrong.

I consider us all blessed to even have jazzmen in the age of Nickelback and Snoop Dogg! Truly fortunate--they might not have done a "hot" performance but they're tight. They could warm it up for the next record.

And speaking of record, the cutting and mastering is really quite amazing...please, more! More, o great one! :D

It's a nice day to be a record collector.
