4m U.S. Everlasting cylinder not listed in Nauck & Sutton

Hello all --

One thing I'm good about is listing all my antique records. Over the weekend I was playing some of my U.S. Everlastings and discovered that I had not listed one of them -- the reason being that I could find no info on it in Nauck & Sutton's and Annand's books on the U.S. Everlastings.

It's 1436, "Roses in June," sung by John Barnes Wells. See attached scans for the title end of the cylinder, and for the pages in the two books where I should have been able to find it listed.

Of course I want Nauck & Sutton to learn of this. I'm also willing to sell it if it's indeed rare.

Thanks for the post, Ralph, I've added the selection to my copy of Nauck & Sutton's.

Thank you for the thanks, Fran. For sure: another edition of Nauck & Sutton probably won't happen, so we all just have to annotate.

U.S. Everlastings are cool; great fidelity, and the distinctive surface rumble.

It turns out that John Barnes Wells was a pseudonym used by Charley Hummel back in the day. Who knew??
