Super cool! Thanks. Good ole Pete!

(I asked my mom whether she was making a political statement by naming me after him, in the late ‘50s, when he was being oppressed as a suspected communist by McCarthy and his goons. To my mild disappointment she said “well, not really, I just liked his music.”)

Ha. I was going to post the exact same thing. Not that I always agreed with his pol***cs.

I 'binged watched' these when I discovered them on YT several years ago. I liked the Doc Watson/Fred Price/Clint Howard show especially.

Good ole Pete.

Now there is a Rainbow Quest channel on YT. Neat.

I can catch some of the ones I missed when they wwere randomly scattered on YT.

Not many of these people are around anymore. Some are, like Donovan, Buffy Sainte Marie, Judy Collins...then young lights of the 'folk revival' now in their 70's or even 80's. Ramblin Jack Elliot is still around too, he may be the oldest performer on this show that is still living and even still doing shows. Jack Elliot was sort of the protegee of Woody Guthrie and has been playing since the 1950's.
