I wonder how many WWI propaganda songs we’re released in November 1918, and were going to be released in December 1918 but were scrapped after the war ended on November 11th of that year...

DAHR lists masters that weren't issued as well as issued. Doesn't seem to be many scrapped WWI songs recorded early November, judging from the song titles. I haven't looked at October. This may be the first song listed there that's about the boys coming home, recorded sixteen days after the Armistice. https://adp.library.ucsb.edu/index.php/ ... bye_France
