Arabic 78's
I found these in a large lot of otherwise unremarkable 78's, and have never comes across anything like them before. I was pretty surprised, as I live in a part of the country that has very few speakers of Arabic in it, and no doubt had even fewer 75 years ago. Google tells me that at least some of these labels are from the late 1940's or early 1950's, and were based in Brooklyn, but beyond that I know nothing. If anyone has any information to share about these labels and/or artists, I would love to hear it. Thank you!

Re: Arabic 78's
I play Darbuka and to a lesser extent a few other Middle Eastern percussion instruments so this was really interesting.
A bit of googling turned up two of the Artists:
Anton "Tony" Abdelahad
http://www.anton-abdelahad.com/bio
In the picture he is playing an Oud.
Amer Kadaj and Sana Kadaj

In one of the pictures he [Amer} is playing a Riq
I would absolutely love to find some of these and combine two of my hobbies ... I may even start looking now.
