Victor Artists' Party and Victor Music Festival 33 ⅓ 1931
This record was discussed recently, but I decided it was time to make a video of both sides myself. This record, like all the Program Transcriptions I have transferred, is pretty noisy and has some distortion. But, overall it turned out OK for what it is. My version is a Canadian pressing and has an orange sticker on both sides over the label stating that only Chromium Orange Needles should be used. Anyone have any of those? Wow, they seem to be rare and elusive. Anyway, two 10 minutes sides all conducted by Nathaniel Shilkret. A fun narrated 1st side with songs by several popular artists and a 2nd side with 4 classical pieces. I find it fun but not everyone will likely listen to all 20 minutes I am guessing.
