I feel comfortable saying that at this point I’ve handled a fair number of rare records. But what really makes me scratch my head is that only two of them have been 10” Berliners. For perspective, I’ve only seen one other, which puts them at the same number of Berliner mothers that I’ve seen. Granted they only made them for a few months but they were selling a fair number of discs by that time (1901). So why are they so incredibly scarce?
