Rivermont--new 78s

Post by drh »

For those who, like me, have been keeping up with the Rivermont Records series of modern, stereo microgroove 78s, the company has just announced another release: a two-record set of Alex Mendham and his Orchestra playing tunes from the '20s:

Midnight, The Stars and You
Dust on the Moon
Shake That Thing!
One More Time

Details here: https://rivermontrecords.com/collection ... 37f41011b5

Note: these are stereo vinyl pressings, not suitable for play on mechanical phonographs.

[edit] To clarify, Rivermont is handling US distribution of these records; they are labeled "Palomar" and, as I understand things, originate in England. Our members there will do better to order directly rather than from Rivermont.
